This movie was amazing. It gives me hope that as big productions degenerate, Netflix will give us more quality movies.

Netflix mostly takes the crap that Hollywood rejects ... the stuff that can't secure a cinema release. Take "The Cloverfield Paradox", for example.
There are only a handful of genuinely good Netflix Original films.
Cloverfield Paradox wasn't that bad. Certainly not as bad as Venom, for instance.

I’m always amazed that people waste the time, effort and money shooting a film when they don’t even have a proper script 🤦🏻♂️ Apostle could have been something quite special if a halfway talented script doctor spent a weekend on it.
I agree. Hollywood has a strong problem in coming up with original quality material. The best it can give us is either a remake of another remake, or a film that is heavily ruined with special effects to make it more like a cartoon than anything else.
Or just another disney like movie that tries to be politically correct or woke.
As for this movie I wont go so far as to say it's the best, however it's far from being the worse.
