White Privilege

Has anyone here ACTUALLY felt like they had it?

reply

LOL... I think the concept is that wypepo are oblivious to it.

That said, it's exhausting being a older privileged white guy. Every morning I have to decide which group I'm going to oppress for the day or the week. Will it be feminists? Some letter of the alphabet squad (LGBQT+)? Some identifiable BIPOC group? The homeless? Addicts? Millennials?

reply

I use a dart board it’s easier and less stress deciding.

Diversity is POC of strength to eventually wipe out the white race or the race that made US into what it is today for the most part. I just find it funny how people complain of white privilege yet keep hiring white people. Is it to make them shame themselves to let POC know they're woke or slaves now or something? Just stop hiring white people already so you can stop complaining about it I say.

reply

Change "stop hiring" to "start hunting for sport" and you've got yourself a deal my friend.

reply

Well, i was denied a hire for a big company on the reason that "you're a white male, sorry".

So ... yeah, so much privilege :D

reply

This is illegal. Sue them.

reply

He can't.

Woke judges will just throw the case out.

Look at how much evidence was gathered related to election fraud (if you haven't, checked out the Georgia Election Senate Committee hearing, contains several hours of people presenting irrefutable evidence of malfeasance), and the judges just all dismissed the cases without even taking them to trial. The people should have been able to decide if the claims had merit, but woke judges just shut it all down.

They'll come up with some bogus, hoop-jumping measure to deny Asom justice, or worse yet, ring him dry in legal fees and then still dismiss the case.

When I was getting up at 4 a.m. to do physical labor and living with 6 dudes in a 2 bedroom house. I definitely felt Privledge.

reply

I grew up in poverty. I'm the only one of my siblings to get a degree. We're all better off than our mom, but definitely weren't privileged growing up.

reply

I am still waiting for mine to kick in. It's taken a few decades so far but I remain patient. I've heard that white privileged life is sweet, sweet living.

reply

It's been said that privilege isn't being handed whatever you want, it's a lack of obstacles in your way. It's very hard for a person to notice that they gave fewer obstacles in their way than other people, because everyone faces obstacles that seem absolutely massive when they come up.

And of course, the kind of self-absorbed dick who complains about the concept of white privilege is going to pay zero attention to the struggles of people who aren't like them, so they won't have a clue. Hardly surprising, as they have no clue about other people in general.
