Perhaps you missed it in the way-too-long 2:12 runtime, but the whole movie was like this. The action, the plot, the giant starfish. The way the doctor's body liquefied and splattered to oblivion when thrown against the window of the containment chamber.
It was all a bunch of dreck just like the all out assault on a tent encampment, where each person is literally a few feet away from the previous victim, but seemingly unaware that the attack is taking place.
The. Whole. Movie. Was. Like. This.
Yeah but the actual action should be believable.
