How did Rocky and his son become estranged again?

Yeah, it's only one of the reasons why (aside from the Rocky scenes) the Creed films kind of suck.

I wondering this myself. At the end of “Rocky Balboa” they seem to be in good terms.

I understand that moving away makes it harder to keep in touch. But to not know your granchild who is 4-5 years old? It doesn’t add up.

If they were going to make them estranged again, they should’ve fleshed that out.
