finally saw Creed2 last night when it showed on tv and was shocked by Drago living in Ukraine.. after Rocky4 he became an outcast so relocated to Ukraine which I guess Russia saw/sees as inferior not true russian..? (hence the invasion and disgraceful war crimes going on)

No, they're suggesting the character was from Ukraine -- which was part of the Soviet Union at the time.

No, they were cast out from Russia.

You do not get cast out of Ukraine, unless Ukraine is still part of Soviet Union. In Russia, you get cast out to Siberia - or at least that was the case in the past.
