I didn't expect to enjoy it

It had assorted flaws but I thought it was decent. Certainly above DC's average.

The good:
Johnson was good in the role and only cracked once or twice.
They stayed true enough to count in the overall portrayal of Black Adam, Kandaq, and the situation.
Action sequences were almost all good.
Brosnan made a good Dr Fate.
Though completely different, Hawkman was well done.
End credit scene.

The bad:
The Good-Bad-Ugly scene was stupid and made no sense.
Director's use of music often forced (trying to be like GotG)
Movie too long (could easily edit out 20 minutes)
The prison escape scene was so drawn out that it was ruined.
The child went from acceptable kid-role to annoying and dumb.
Atom Smasher and Cyclone were hard to care about.


Not as good and tidy as Shazam but I still add this to my very small list of OK DC movies.
