You do realize that Dr. Fate and Hawkman predate Dr. Strange and Falcon by decades? Atom-Smasher is apparently the nephew of the Atom: whether that is the golden age Atom from the forties or the Silver Age Atom from the sixties is somewhat unclear. Cyclone is represented as the granddaughter of Ma Hunkel, the original Red Tornado, who is also from the forties. (granted that Ma Hunkel did not have super powers.
It is easy to forget that while many of the DC heroes have come to film after their Marvel "counterparts," their actual source material predates Marvel by quite a bit.
While many of the characters from both companies have resemblances, they also have differences. This is inevitable is the genre as there are only so many ways to present super powers.
There have been many magic/sorcerer heroes and heroines. Many human-looking extra-terrestrials, many mutants (though called different things), as well as devices/armor heroes, detective heroes, gadget heroes, and science accident heroes. The interest is in their similarities and differences. Dr. Fate is not Dr. Strange. Atom-Smasher is not Ant Man. Cyclone isn't Storm. and Hawkman isn't the Falcon.
