Could have been good but it wouldn't have been all about DJ

This movie wasn't structured right. I think Rock's ego and control really strong armed the writers into a corner. It really should have focused more on the JSA unraveling the mystery of who the hell Black Adam is. Instead of just having massive exposition dumps non stop. Movie kept just constantly telling you what you needed to know just so you could see Rock flying around smashing stuff. But of course doing that would have made the movie more about the other guys. Or at least made them equal players. Obviously we needed to see Dr. Fate in a much more prominent role. Black Adam isn't the interesting character in this story. He's got the cute twist in his origin, but he's just a time displaced Superman. There's not a lot of meat there. Eh, whatever. I think the execs knew what was coming. They were just hoping to cash in big on a Rock blockbuster before they all lost their jobs. In hind sight I wish they crammed Superman into the final act for a quick 15 minute smashdown right at the end. That might have changed something. A cameo don't cut it.
