What was with that goofy underwater giant base?

The one which had force fields keeping the water out?!

Where did the tech for that come from and for Black Panther Hawkman's ship?

And where were these people during all the other shenanigans?

And where were the Justice League during this film's shenanigans? That place was getting utterly destroyed but no one else showed up?

Is it because of pride? I don't know how the justice society works but are they like a b grade Justice League and didn't want the embarrassment of asking the others for help?

And how come Panther Hawkman wasn't using all this tech he had when Zod was literally going to destroy the Earth? Was he waiting for something more exciting to happen first?

And why was that place perpetually bathed in orange glow continuously?

It wasn't a 100% terrible film but all the above question marks plus CGI dialled to 11 didn't really help it.

This was a mess. I hadn't heard of ANY of these characters before, or the 'justice society' (what kind of stupid wiener name is that? - Homer Simpson) yet they're in the same universe as the justice league?

Genuine question, who came first? These characters, or Marvel's Dr. Strange, Ant Man, Storm and oh I don't know, Falcon I guess?

Aaand of course they all have these grab bags of ambiguous superpowers that are there sometimes and sometimes don't appear at all if the plot doesn't want them to.

Also this movie was just plain boring. Enough with the destruction porn, it's been done to freakin' death. Didn't need what felt like two solid hours of it.

On the plus side, I did like the way he flew. Just strutting about in the sky in a standing position was refreshing.
