Shazam's arch enemy gets his own spin off --- before he even got to interact with the hero. While The Rock is certainly one of the biggest stars in all of Hollywood ---- it was his input and power plays that destroyed what could've been a great stand alone DC feature.

No, I think the writers and script did most of the job. The rock is many things but he is no writer.
