Not even the rabid Nolanites can save this one?

Damn, Nolan finally made a film so awful that not even his die-hard fanboys can 10-star bomb into the IMDb Top 25, or even the Top 250. I have yet to see this one but I can't imagine it being any more drawn out, pretentious, and being carried with this laughable sense of over-importance than any of his other work.

It has a 7.9/10 on IMDB which is still very good.

OK sonomareturns. So you are attacking Christopher Nolan and his followers yet your previous post was titled “Spider-Man 3 vs Amazing Spider-Man 2?”

So pathetic.

reply

I can't make out your point? Both of those are the worst of the Spider-Man movies. Seems a fair comparison.

reply

His point seems clear to me. Try reading it in context. He’s basically saying the poster is an idiot.

Yeah, I’ve always enjoyed Nolan’s movies very much, except for Interstellar. I thought this one was a disaster from the start.

You couldn’t understand the dialogue in the first fifteen minutes of the movie due to masks on their faces.

The hero being a midget just wasn’t a good look.

There was no real suspense throughout the movie. I never cared if Branagh’s wife lived or died.

By far his worst movie. And I thought Inception was a near perfect movie.

reply

I saw it and really liked it. I think it was just meant to be a fun action/thriller movie just like all his other movies. I didn't get the impression that it was trying to be anything deep.
