Better for not sticking to the franchise roots
Arguably this is one of the best movies and the franchise, and I realize it's because it has strayed so far from it's roots. If these movies were still about street racing, (which is what less than the majority of the movies have been about) the franchise would've been dead a long time ago. Even when the street racing was a bigger part, there was still a lot of nonsense.
Overall a fun and entertaining movie with a few unexpected surprises and really great chemistry among the characters. Can't wait to see where the franchise goes from here.
