This is truly an excellent horror film.

I just watched it for the first time today. And the IMDb rating of 6.8 is far too low.

There's a family in our driveway. I also have to say that I laughed out loud when the shadowy doppelgänger family was standing in the driveway. The father's terrified reaction was hilarious. And I say this as kudos to the film. I was thoroughly entertained on more than one level.

The little boy playing a dare game with his clone was also well executed. That child actor has a promising future in film. Much respect for Lupita Nyongo's performance as well.

Great film. I highly recommend it.

I thought it was interesting. I had no idea what "the message" was supposed to be, but it was different from other movies, so I give it credit for that.

The director Jordan Peele explains it's about the haves versus the have-nots. The Wilsons are a comfortable middle class family. The doppelgängers literally come up from the sewers to take what they have.

Finally saw this, and have to agree. This was an extremely well-made horror film, with what I now expect to see from JP a deft realpolitik touch to the nature of the horror itself.

Peele is a very impressive creative force in cinema. I thought Nope was slightly a bit of a let-down (aside from the chimp side-story which was awesome), but Us and Get Out are first-rate.
