Enjoyable, but some sloppy continuity

Danson’s bar owner character says he has a new “person” to bring him weed. Then he says the guy comes every week to “fix his computer”. Then he again says he’s new.

When the dad pulls out the daughter’s birth certificate, it says 1993. Accurate for the actor, but surely her character is supposed to be 18?? She’s a super focused student heading for pre-med in college—it doesn’t fit with the character to imagine she’s taken a six or seven year break before starting college. Not to mention the 2004 height mark in a later scene that is way too short for an 11 year old (about the height of her jeans pocket as she stood in front of it).

Maybe the script supervisor was off with Ted Danson communing with trees and smoking a lot of weed…
