I am wondering a lot about Mr. Mooney and other things after watching the whole series.

[spoiler]Was the stroke natural, or did something get "caused" by Joe? Perhaps Joe found him and let him sit for two days before asking for medical help? Whatever it is, at the end, I personally suspected EVERYTHING was not as it seemed or was portrayed by Joe's narration, including the deaths of Peach and Benji, and even Candace's whereabouts and her brother's death 6 months prior.[/spoiler]

Yeah, anything is possible with this guy, right?
I was wondering the same...but Mr. Mooney also seemed cheery enough in greeting Joe, too. It didn't look as if there was any animosity there.
I can't help but wonder if they went back and sliced up the script some in order to add a second season, making it so that Candace could show up at the end. But if they didn't, and always intended to have a second season, then yeah, I bet there's more to the story.
Having someone who played such an instrumental role in the development of a sociopath suddenly suffer a debilitating stroke seems a little convenient somehow, huh? Or at least "off" a bit.
