An abandoned Byzantine style church in NYC.

In the episode "God Complex" May 23, 2023, characters spend some time in a setting which could be described as a real God complex, an abandoned Church building.

On the outside it looked like a rather plain red brick building. But the inside has a splendid neo Byzantine style church interior with a dome on pendentives.

Since the series is filmed in and around New York City, the old abandoned church scenes should have been filmed in a real old church in or near NYC, since the main church interior seems much too large to have been built as a set.

So can anyone identify the actual old church used in those scenes?

Today, Feb. 6, 2024, "God Complex" was on again and that inspired me to check whether the episode listing in IMDB said anything about it.

And the Trivia section for "God Complex" says:

The location where Agent Maggie Bell fell through the floor was The Church of St. Anselm and St. Roch at 685 Tinton Ave, Bronx, NYC. It is a historic landmark undergoing renovation.

I have to say that it looks much better in online photos than in the episode, where it is made to look really spooky & creepy.
