shareThe fact that the husband and wife just happened to be at the same lodge as the kidnappers just made no sense. I could see if it was just the wife, but why were they all there?

shareyeah the kidnappers knew the girl was sick so the wife / maid / nurser / accomplice took the same route as them in case the girl would need help cuz she was in on it, and pretended a surprise trip to her husband as an excuse to him to travel there.
