I like first wave 1998 better than this

I have started watching these 2 shows at the same time.
I find this is more like soap and like first wave better.
as that was on horror channel but its ended now also this has just ended on ITV2 but only up to ep8.
But I am getting through first wave much faster I find its a better show.
