Just a lot of fun... Don't read into it more than that...
This movie is just fun... Are there things wrong with it, sure, but so what. There really isn't a resolution for the main character. He saves his family. Would it be nice if it was more than that, sure... It wasn't... Trying to make sense of this really isn't a good idea. It will make your head spin. Just go with it and enjoy it. I did, but when I tried to make sense of it, that is when the fun stopped. Not really something that will kill it for me, totally but I can see why some it would.
