Has anyone discussed the imagery/symbolism of the final scene in the poppy field?

I believe is a reference to resurrection:

According to my online research...A second interpretation of poppies in Classical mythology is that the bright scarlet color signifies a promise of resurrection after death...

Another theory I have is the whole season 1 is a dream/ hallucination provoked by the poppy flower scent and in season 2, we will see what happens in real life.

Any thoughts in the final scene?

I think it's meant to be taken literally. It's a miracle that 3 survived, and all He did was perform CPR. Or they died and he resurrected them.
