I actually think, if they stick with this title for home release, it will boost bluray sales. Harley Quinn looks cooler & sends a clearer message to oglers: on a shelf; than Birds of Prey does. It's more relatable as a trophy for fantasy and as inspiration for impressionable young girls. Nobody wants to dress up as "Birds of Prey" for Halloween. Names, titles, matter. Branding matters. This is 101 marketing. DC Boneheads.

I think they should have emphasized more that awesome secondary title. Movie probably would have cleared 300 million opening weekend if they had named and marketed the movie this:

Yeah if you’re gonna have an R rated comic book movie featuring good looking women, you gotta get em topless a few times at least! I would guess the box office would be at least doubled if that actually happened in the movie

Surely they didn't expect this garish, poorly filmed, low-rent step-down to be a blockbuster? It's the equivalent of Tank Girl

It's a big part of why it bombed. Not everyone is a fan a comics. Therefore, 90 percent of movie goers had never heard of the birds of prey. Before the trailer I didn't even know they were a thing and I still cant name a single one. Poison ivy? But I do know who HQ is and she was the only good part about suicide squad along with will smith. The really messed up with the convoluted title the first time around. Changing it will not rescue the box office though. But it can't hurt.

They should quickly redo the posters as well .. in fact just rerelease the SS ones and slap "Harley Quinn: BOP" on instead
