The kid was a teenager.....And he looked like a teenager.
Fucking hell, have you never seen a teenager boy before? LOL They all have stubble/beards, mate.

He was 19 or 20 when this was filmed, playing 16. Just 4 years off.
But I agree he looked far too old for the part.
I also felt like he was miscast.

Same here, junior year. The guy looked like some 21 Jump Street undercover cop, but he was the same age as me. He looked older in high school than I look now, at 41.
