I remember my mum saying when she saw The Wizard of Oz as a kid, when Dorothy steps out of the house into Munchkin land. I think that was the first time a lot of ppl saw a Colour movie. And l felt the same for this movie.

Don't forget about the sound, from mono to surround. If you watched it on crappy TV speakers, then you missed half the restoration work.
