Season 4 and struggling to hold on....

Something changed in Season 3 - I can't put my finger on it. But it was decent enough that I was able to kind-of make it through. In S1 and 2 there was a story, fully realized characters, and a reason for the show to exist. Now that we're in Season 4 I think I'm about done. Nadja and her, "Motherfucking vampire night-club!!!" is just not landing and is simply annoying.

And what happened to Laszlo? In season 1 and 2 he was this awkward, but mostly kind-hearted, bloviating gentleman - struggling to make his way through the crazy human world. Then in season 3 he just became an asshole. Nothing funny or endearing, just a crotchety old man who says "Fuck" every other sentence. Guillermo? I don't know what the hell they're trying to do with him now. And Colin as a baby now is a laugh-less mess. And The Guide is a regular now? Why? That character only worked in small doses.

Anyway, I guess it's a tale as old as time. Just wish they would've kept the S1 and 2 formula longer.
