Sort of. Jake is the older janitor reflecting on what could have been. He never dated the young woman but is imagining what his life would have been like if he had. I think the film is about loneliness, regret and missed opportunities.

Wrong. Truck never starts. You are hearing a near by snow plow in the right speaker. It goes closer louder at end of credits but the truck does not start.

I don't think the truck started, it was a show plough or something. Watched it a few times just in case.
