Loved this except for one scene
Two hours in, it was easily looking like it was going to be a 9/10 film. But the ballet scene knocked it down to 8/10, still very good but with a glaring flaw.
And it’s not because I don’t like dance! I actually happily watched several seasons of SYTYCD. And there are other films where that kind of thing definitely works. I just don’t feel that it did here: it totally derailed the creepy momentum that had been building.
