I love all three actors involved and the plot sounds like a fun caper. The one thing that concerns me is not that it's a Netflix movie, but the director. He's not that good.

I like tempering my expectations when it comes to Netflix movies. They've got some solid ones but most of 'em are mediocre or just forgettable

I agree. I feel the same about movies produced/released by most streaming services, actually.

Yeah, I think HBO Max stuff is a bit more solid than Netflix but yeah, most of these straight to streaming films kinda feel like the straight to video type films.
