The most expensive Netflix movie

Really? Watching the trailer, it honestly doesn't feel or look like a $200m film. Looks generic af

Surely most of it went to the stars of the film

reply

I actually thought the most recent trailer looked very expensive but generic... like they had a lot of money for fancy shots and expensive actors... but no script.

reply

Right? The script does feel like your usual Dwayne Johnson flick. Nothing against him but his films are rather forgettable.

reply

Honestly the movie feels a bit like Uncharted and the trailers dropped not too far off from other.

reply

The budget is the same as Tenet, can you tell me which part in Tenet makes you "feel or look" $200m?

reply

Tenet had a 200m budet? Huh, I would not have been able to guess that.

Probably spent on destroying that plane. Which they did for real. I don't know...

reply

That scene is so lame, the plane moves so slow, and hardly has any scratch on it, compare that scene to Air Force One (release 23 years earlier):

reply

You're not taking into account The Rock's salary. That's probably 80% of the budget right there.

reply

It has been reported that each of three stars is getting $20 million= $60 million for just them.

reply

Lol. Exactly.

reply

Wow! Ok, now it makes sense

reply

You are forgetting that hollywood films often serve as money laundering operations.
