What a stroke of luck

What a stroke of luck that that boy just happened to be illegally drinking a can of coke right by the fake egg in the museum.

And drinks in museum were not allowed.

Also what are the chances Hartley and Booth were put in the same prison and the same cell.

And Sotto Voce was shooting at them both, could have killed them, does that sound like a good plan?

How did Inspector Das get to the vault door. Hartley and Booth bypassed a lot cameras, Das seemed to be there without alerting security guards at all.

And how did Inspector Das show up at the dig site? Why would anyone tip her off?

And how did Booth knew their secret bank account, that was like impossible.

A lot of details in the movie could not hold up to scrutiny.

reply

Das will be revealed in the sequel that she's actually Booth's wife (they'd kiss in the end,) and it was a long con to arrest Hartley and Bishop all along.

And all the story about his father's Nazi watch was a lie and the whole digging site was actually a studio built by the Interpol (that's why Booth knew exactly where the box that held the egg was located in such a vast warehouse like that.)

reply

That is even more ridiculous. Going through that to arrest 2 art thieves? Nobody is that devoted to their middle class jobs. And they could have just arrested the 2 at the end of this movie.

And do you think Interpol has the budget for a huge construction project like that? In the middle of nowhere? And the eggs have to be real because the billionaire paid for it definitely would have experts verifying the artifacts, and how did Interpol find the third egg?

I don't think even Hollywood script writers are that ridiculous.

reply

That because it will be revealed in the third movie that Bishop actually had an affair with Sotto Vocce. She didn't really drug his champagne, he just pretended to pass out. That's also why he didn't hit Hartley and Booth even when he shot a lot of times (with blanks.) It was all a ruse.

It was also her that tipped Booth how to froze the account, because it would be impossible otherwise.

The Interpol's egg was indeed fake, but Bishop secretly swap it for the real one she got from the hidden room never before opened in the Pyramid. Booth's confession was actually true!

Thus the money goes to Bishop and Sotto Vocce, leaving Hartley arrested by Das. The end.

reply

So you are saying Bishop gave up half of 300 mil, let it get frozen, to accomplish what? To con her own husband, and of course her husband cooperated in the effort, pretending blanks opened hand cuffs? So Sotto Vocce could be almost crushed by a bull?

Not only that she has to get the third egg from the Pyramid, she also has put it in the dig site, before she knew where it was?

She had all 3 eggs, just go get the money. But no, she needs to risk her life to get the money frozen?

If you are a script writer, don't quit your day job.

reply
