How accurate is the depiction of life in Lebanon in this film?
I'm assuming it is pretty accurate as it was made by Lebanese. It it was made by Europeans or Americans I am sure Liberals would cry racism.
The Lebanon of this film is a barbaric hell-hole. It makes Mexico look like an enlightened utopia. It basically reinforces everyone's image of the savagery of 3rd world life. This movie shows there is no hope that this country will ever join civilization.
