Dropped the ball

The final part of this triology really dropped the ball.

Honestly I really wish they would stop shoving this “technology is evil” cliche down our throats.

It does a lot of good as well.

The ending just ruined it for me. The first and second movie really kept up the notion that overall Godzilla was the threat, it needs to be stopped. It showed the other two alien races had some ultieor motives but that Godzilla was still a threat.

Then the movie ends with the main character killing themselves to destroy the last bit of technology and man going back to primitive ways. Yet Godzilla is still there. It was just stupid because the main characters driving force was his hatred for Godzilla and wanting to reclaim earth. And then that goes out the window and he does without any real purpose.

Stop trying to make movies deep and have a message Netflix. Just give us a badass Godzilla movie that’s all.
