Funny how they had an intro talking about how proud he was of this turd. This film was a boring mess with nothing interesting to say about Marley. It's a total rushed and half assed biopic to make money off of his name. If you want a good Marley film just watch the documentary from 2012. It's much better than this piece of shit.
Haven't seen the film yet, and I would definitely recommend the 2012 documentary Marley, because that's how great it is. That being said, it actually took 20 years for One Love to be made, so it's not a "half-assed" rush job like you claim. Plus the Marley family was involved in every aspect of it, from start to finish---at least three family members were the producers. They also had a say in who would play Bob, too. Point being, I figured the film wasn't going to be a warts-and-all treatment of Marley, so that's no big surprise. Having been a big reggae fan for some years, I'd still like to see the film, even though I already know Marley's life story. Here's an article about how the films finally got made, after many years:
Was totally not surprised when I saw the credits rolling and saw so many Marleys popping up. It totally felt like exactly what you would expect from a movie with such producers.
The documentary was WAY better. This movie was all over the place. No flow. Disjointed. Confusing. I just couldn't get into it at all. Watch the doc and call it a day.
