Went to see it this afternoon

Overall I enjoyed the movie but I thought it was a little too long and some of the motion scenes made me dizzy to watch - especially the ones moving through the trenches - I needed Dramine. Because I knew it was a continuous shot film, I felt I was distracted by that because I was constantly trying to figure out when the shots started and ended so they seemed to blend seamlessly together. I think the movie would have been better if it had just been shot normally with breaks.

Yeah. Me too. Spent the whole film playing "where's the edit". Very distracting. Some were obvious, some were pretty sneaky.

Exactly- I think when they went from frontal shots to showing their backs or through a tunnel or dark space it was obvious, but some of it really was sneaky. I was distracted more at the beginning of the movie than at the end

Pretty sure they did one where the camera swept low across somebody's legs. They must have had that person stand in the same place and digitally wiped around the edges with the new cut. That one was real slick.

I can't figure out how they did the river sequence at all. That was incredible. Hope there's some extensive making of features on the bluray.
