Does anyone else get the feeling that he seems to the best at handling the situation? The other ghosts all seem stuck in their own time frames.
He adapted and updates as necessary. Learned English so that he can communicate. He accepts the others into the fold. He's accepted the Captain and covers for him. Heck, he's even learning chess.
