S1 was somewhat funny but now it's milked drier than Seymore Butts in one of his foursomes.

shareThe original premise was an alien on a benign mission trying to hide in plain site at his cabin while waiting to be rescued, then gets drawn out into the community to serve them and eventually much admire. The series mostly threw all of that out the window during the first few episodes of the first season.
