So Kraven the hunter is getting a Rated R movie, but not the Venom movies and Morbius? WTF?!?

reply

Yeah really. Carnage in the comics leaves a heavy trail of blood and of course Morbius is a vampire so they should have been heavy on the gore but almost none in sight. Yet for Kraven....

Trailer footage description:

The trailer showed Kraven facing-off against a caravan of poachers, who he makes quick - and very violent - work of. We also got a glimpse of Russell Crowe as the Russian father of Taylor-Johnson’s Sergei Kravinoff, and right at the end, it's revealed that a new take on Spider-Man villain the Rhino will be introduced in the movie.

Alessandro Nivola (The Many Saints of Newark) is playing the character, though all we see of him in Rhino mode is the skin on his arm starting to transform into thick hide as he says, "don't you want to know why they call me the Rhino?"

They shouldn't have spoiled the Rhino reveal in the trailer. Could have been a cool surprise.

reply

It could, but they don't care about that. All they care about is marketing.

I won't see this movie. Kraven should be in a Spider-Man movie. Then again so should Venom, Carnage, and Morbious.
