Still a lot of complaints but i'm enjoying it

3x4 was a very good episode IMO. TNG was never a shoot em up fighting action show. It was always about the characters. And this episode was a great example of that. A lot of the complaints i see are that the tone is darker and too different from TNG but i'm fine with it being somewhat different. It's been over 20 years since we last visited these characters. I expect the universe to have changed in that time.

I too have like this season. I also wish the first two had been like this one.

This cast has always had chemistry together, so instead of making this series just about Picard, I think they could've just added them all and made it a Next Generation continuation from the beginning.

Seasons 1 and 2 were wasted on a modern politically correct audience that the majority of probably never even watched TNG. Season 3 is what the show should have been from day one.
