When this show is stupid, it's asinine stupid

The Stadium:
1. Did I miss something? How is it that dozens and dozens of civilians are converging, coincidentally at the exact same time, on a stadium carrying every conceivable gun made by man.

2. Why do that many untrained people shoot randomly at 1 zombie at a time with so many people in the area. There may be a chance you could shoot someone and make problems much worse for yourself. Whoops, too late.

3. What are the odds that Rose runs into her daughter at the stadium after all that chaos. Those are lottery odds for sure.

This entire series had cornball scenarios in it:
Human Flow - Actually started out great.
Drive - The whole van-driving scene had dumb incident after dumb incident.
Summer School - So within a few days of a zombie breakout, children stay behind to turn into killers?
Alone - This episode has to hold the record for the most stupidity ever written.
Diner - I actually liked this one.
Heist - Let's not leave a town where everyone is dying...more than once. Let's stay and party.
The Tunnel - The writer assumes this story is good enough to renew and explain Spears connection with these "military guys"? Spit it out while you can.
The Stadium - I almost quit when the shooting started.

I don't think the writer/director has any respect for the audience with the stupidity that defied logic at times in this series. It could be pretty damn good at times, but some things are so entirely bad that it just kills the show.

Not really a coincidence. The stadium is everyone's goal, but maybe the timing (with no one else already there) is asking too much.

You answered that yourself. Plenty of accidental shooting resulted.

Six weeks, not days (someone mentions it's been six weeks since it started). Maybe six weeks is still unrealistic, but fyi.

If you have your own safe spot, some people might decide to hunker down and make the best of things.
