King (Arthur?)
I noticed the King said "sit besides me". It seems like "sit beside me" is more grammatically correct, so I was wondering if "besides" was what they said back in that time period?
shareI haven't read anything like that in my browsing of medieval literature, but it could have just been a slip-up on the actor's part, and I'm sure similar slip-ups happened in the past - even from the mouths of kings.
