Yes, people know it's satire.

In fact, there was a lady in the theater I was at who made SURE to laugh out loud at any darkly satirical note in the movie....just to make sure the rest of us knew that SHE was among the intelligent and sophisticated few who had that figured out.

I wanted to go shake her hand for being so.....two steps ahead of all the unwashed.

If you thought this was over anyones head then you are clearly one of the folks that needed to become a human S'more.

This movie was the typical art house shit they made in the 80's and 90's when the director thought getting A-grade actors to appear in pretentious and poorly written crap would make a good movie. I had hoped this type of shit would have died off with the pandemic... sadly it didn't.

LOL forreal! I haven’t posted in approx. 3-4 months, and in that time the large majority of iMdB Trolls have infiltrated the moviechat community. Literally turning some of these threads into the sad remnants that reminds me of the deepest darkest shti storm that iMdB movie boards WAS before it got shut down…

I’m wondering if they waited a decade to come out and Troll around, or if this is a whole new generation of humans that take pleasure in smelling their own farts…
