Totally agree. She's so wooden you can almost see the strings. I can only assume you are young. That physical attraction nonsense will wear off eventually and you'll long for someone who you can hold a decent conversation with and who can also make you laugh. Without her, for me, the show can only get better. I've detested her drippy character from day one. I find Damon Wayans very hard to watch in anything and wasn't opimistic that I would even see out the end of the first season, but Clayne Crawford made the show, without him it'll be nothing. I just skip every scene with Patterson, it makes it a shorter show, but it's much more enjoyable. I'd have used the word "skank", but tramp does the job too. Just binge watched season 3 and came here to say exactly the same. Not much on TV has me sat on the edge of my seat, but this was amazing, nerve wracking TV. I really can't remember the last thing I cried at on TV, be it a series or a movie, but this got me at the end. I see on IMDB it lists a season 4, but I'm torn between wanting it to carry on, or go out with that jaw dropping ending. Whiny, controlling, all me me me. I detest her character. It's certainly forced, very cringe worthy and bordering on fast forward material. I like Seth and Emily, but they have no chemistry whatsoever as a couple. Spot on. Simon brought everything that happened on himself. Even when he knew he'd been found out, he still expected her to keep quiet and not tell their son what a piece of crap he is, so he would have time to sugar coat some BS for the boy. Only thing she let me down on was at the end, when she spoke to the pregnant one in the street, she should have said something like "if he cheated with you, he'll cheat on you" and left her to worry about what the horrid two-timing rat was up to, every time he leaves the house. I've watched all of Arrow and the first season of Flash. I know it's a show about Superhero's and you expect a certain amount of tongue in cheek scenes, but I find Flash to be puerile and it got to the point were the second season was starting and I just couldn't think of a single reason to waste any more of my time on it. Not a fan of Brody, a bit bright eyed and bushy tailed for my liking and I was happy to know we'd seen the back of her, but I guess it's true and you should be careful of what you wish for, because the new woman is way worse. Not Legends, I like that show ! How about getting rid of her to The Flash, simply because I don't watch it Thank God I'm not alone, she's an irritating drip . Don't like Henry Cavill at all so, I'd chose the other guy by default even 'tho I've never even heard of him. I went and looked him up and he's nothing special to look at either. Wish I could agree with you but, I think they stink as a couple. That's probably because absolutely everything about her annoys me and I just can't stand to watch their scenes. As much as I detested Laurel, she was far more tolerable as a love interest. I didn't feel any sympathy for her either. She willingly followed that evil little psychopath and his band of nutters and didn't even see the light when he pimped her out. I wondered that too. She was living the vagrant life, on the street with supposedly nothing to her name except the clothes on her back, so it's not like she whipped out her credit card and popped off to the shops for a makeover. The only thing I could think of is that her junkie/prostitute friend had some cash lying about her place and she helped herself to that. Agree that the battle was epic, but very disappointing apart from than that. All that junk they're surrounded by should burn very nicely so I'd barbecue them all.
