Last I checked, Israel funded Hamas since its very beginning. So.. what are we talking about here?
Worse yet - the cancellation he's talking about - human rights, freedom of speech, etc - these are all current targets - cancel it all, just don't touch by bread and butter? And let's not forget that the cancellation of those things is actually pushed by his tribe, not the students (who are largely tools). Heck, many of those unis still have vax mandate.
Anyways, it's not as if I ever held this dude in high esteem. Still, I heard him previously talk about the cancel culture in comedy and figured that maybe this fellow is starting to ponder a bit about the insanity of it all, but looks like he's got the J tunnel vision.
Alas, very little surprises me after the last 5 years.
He started off his speech by saying - I love that you are trying to cancel everything and everyone - it's awesome - the wrongs of the past need to be fixed - but whatever you do, do not cancel comedy.
Now - if the first bit was said with sarcasm, I'd laugh, but he wasn't joking. After that, I stopped watching.
All in all - another veil lifted for me.

Having said that, you could be right - at least, as far as hollywood perception is concerned. Them going after grandmas may also be indicative of them being aligned with anti-woke and anti-vax crowed (grandma killers?).
I think making them sound like antifa and with woke hairstyles is what led me to think that way. It's possible that this is how hollywood sees the anti-woke movement? If so, curious.

I think the west can certainly match and outmatch Russia in terms of military tech production over time - the problem is that the west military tech doesn't appear to be better than the russian military tech -
So what you end up with is 2 nations - with a crapload of weapons - one of which is being supplied by the west - but the problem is manpower shortage. The west cannot mass produce manpower - The only way to counter Russia's advantage is by having western boots on the ground. A smaller army cannot win against a much bigger army with much bigger mobilization potential if their military tech is on par.

I do think the whole situation should have been avoided if they had borrowed money from the lawyer dad from the get go..... but then there wouldn't have been a movie
I also think the 3 dudes who got killed prolly had a much bigger crew behind them, so I dunno if the 'happy' ending made sense in that regard.
Still - it has a good message about family - the acting is decent - the plot keeps you guessing - and, well, I think I'm still a sucker for happy endings. Recommended.

The brain is probably the easiest thing to reprogram, btw. regrowing (or modifying) a human body though - 'science' is not there just yet - though human ears have been grown in mice.
