Agreed but what changed. The problem with Chinall's era was they went full steam ahead and started outright pandering to the fanatical woke audience. RTD's doing the same damn thing. Between Chibnall and RTD they've shit on the character and backstory (Timeless children nonsense) so much that the only way i can see them saving this show is a hard reboot. Start from scratch and erase all the damage they did.

Still why aren't they at least screaming for him to be cancelled. They came like angry villagers with pitch forks after Joss Whedon, Timothy Hutton, Johnny Depp and Chris Hardwick when their was nothing more than accusations before the facts had been heard. And here there's actual video of Diddy violently beating the shit out of a woman half his size and they have nothing to say?.
It's like what they say about villains in movies and TV. Every villain is the hero of their own story. They don't think their destroying anything. In their demented woke minds they truly believe that their creating amazing content, teaching the world valuable lessons about identity politics and bringing people together by saturating the air waves with this ridiculously over the top woke gospel.
Their content quality is garbage because it's bogged down by blatantly woke messaging, The valuable lessons about identity politics are meant for a far less accepting world that just doesn't exist anymore except to easily offended PC nuts and race-baiters that look for it in everything, and their not bringing people together. Their just making a great many people not watch their shit. I can think of a few shows that i started out loving but stopped watching cold turkey, this show is on that list, and many others that i didn't even bother with because the quality got replaced with woke propaganda.
I'd heard he had some medical issues and was taking medication that bloated him up. But he's looking much better now.
Studios fail to recognize the power of nostalgia and instead continue to cater to modern audiences most of whom don't know or give a shit about the originals. That's why TV show remakes continue to suck.
Cobra Kai isn't popular because it's the best written or acted show on TV. It's popular because it tapped into that nostalgia and connected with the original fan base.

Besides Seinfeld you had Frasier and 3rd rock from the sun. I can't think of any sitcom that's currently airing better than any of those classics.
He benefited from being on one of the greatest sitcoms of all time.
Works out better for Seinfeld. It gets rid of the whiny babies who cry into their social media when ever someone disagrees with them. he'll have a much better audience with them gone.
I mean if they were attacking people their own age and size or bigger i might be intimidated and think their tough. But attacking little old senior citizens like Buscemi and Moranis just makes them look like a couple of pathetic little bitches.
The new show has always been progressive with inclusivity. It's preachy shoehorning and cringy woke writing that no one likes. And the show has recently become the embodyment of that. Sexuality and color doesn't bother anybody. Altering characters for the sake of catering to woke nuts most of whom probably never watched the show before all the woke pandering is what bothers people.
BTW in spite of what woke writers sprinkled into the writing to set up their new woke show it was always a show about a straight white grandad. And Capaldis Doctor was married so unless he was keeping a mighty big secret from Miss Rivers he's straight. Or BI i guess.
I think the show, like many others, itself become very woke over the years but IMO not Capaldi. which as a viewer i looked past. Regardless of how woke you felt he was though he was still a straight white man. It's when they took the woke nonsense to the next level and altered the character himself that i was done.
Sorry left woke puppet reviewer but Doctor who was made a very long time ago and was always depicted as a straight white grandad. Until it was hijacked by woke fanatics who transformed it into a cringy woke dumster fire that it's creators never intended it to be. Sorry if that offends their fragile woke feelings but that's facts. I have no issue with silly things like Colors or genitalia that the wokes creepily obsess over. Loved Captain Jack Harkness but catering to lefty PC nuts has turned Doctor who into a joke of it's former self. I haven't seen anything after Capaldi. As far as i'm conscerned his final episode was the series finale.
Still can't get past how offensively they depicted the first Doctor in Capaldis final episode. Hartnells Doctor was a product of the era the show started in but his Doctor was not the sexist pig they depicted him as.
Never watched it because i heard that season 1 was preachy woke pandering. But i also read that season 2 had improved.

Got his job back later when he was exonerated. Hutton was accused by one individual about something from 1983 that he was never charged with and he was dropped from Leverage Redemption and cancelled because of it. Neither of these events had many reports or any kind of pattern.
