Blackthorn's death bed scenes, meaning? (possible spoilers) Tom Hanks cameo?? So they never bothered to even try and learn each other's names?? Was Di Caprio's Osage lines dubbed?? Regardless of the place, faces or language, war is tragic So a more realistic version of Fallout..... Excellent portrayal It really captures the tone and emotion of Ikiru No Paris??? Looks like season 2 has been cancelled View all posts >

I can only imagine a massive battle scene like that would have taken quite a chunk of the budget. I don't recall how the original series ended, but here it makes sense. Wish they could have gone into a bit more detail. There are also some great Japanese films that show the battle, if not specifically focused on it. That, and other films have it as a sub plot, like early on in the Samurai trilogy. And here I thought he was the latest incarnation of Ralph Macchio.... Was even worse when she took off the blonde wig! It's got plenty of action, most of it done pretty well. What you wont get is the cheesy 80s and 90s type action film, with ninjas doing unrealistic stunts, etc. Very well done show. One of Hitler's big mistakes was moving to bomb English cities and population centers rather than airfields. Those based in England had it easier than others, who might have transitional camps. But as they noted here, it was more about trying to escape the mental anguish of being in mortal danger day after day. If any pilots had it easy, might have been the American bomber crews in the Pacific, later in the war, after Japan had lost any semblance of air power. Clearly you don't know your history, or maybe you just bought into the nazi philosophies of race. WW2 was the ultimate example of how the British utilized every source of 'manpower' available. Minorities from their world wide colonies, all ages of both men and woman. They demanded that everyone who could contribute do so, so this is a fair example. Woke would have been women or black bomber pilots over Germany (there were women pilots who transported aircraft in the US). Indie was also shot in the chest, not sure if he would have survived more than a few days with archaic medical treatment, his only future was likely in modern times There's a Mifune documentary where it shows he was actually part of staff preparing kamikaze air crews. If true, that's something that would be a huge trigger for Americans, especially any who experienced the attacks. I had a version with the Japanese subtitles, Kuroda stated there was a larger island in a specific direction. View all replies >
