Season 2 came out today.
so they can make a truly informed decision
Sure they can make an informed decision, but at what cost? Studying the dark side involves doing horrible things you can never take back. D - The cold temperatures outside can cause ice to form on windows, and then thaw during the day. Check your window sills in the morning, to see if they need a quick drying with a rag. It's definitely underrated, and honestly, I'm one those people who used to do so. I find that it gets better with each watch. I think part of the issue is that it doesn't spoon feed things to the viewer, and so you can miss a lot (nothing against spoon feeding). For example, part of enjoying a film is how it makes you feel at any given moment. Solaris has plenty of terrifying scenes, but most don't come across as scary unless you actually stop to think about it, because they don't use jolting music or panicked camera movements to emphasize it. I'm not saying that's a bad thing, I think it works really well, but I do think it creates a scenario where you don't get the full experience in one watch, and people often don't watch a film twice if they don't love it the first time around. Personally, I like it better each time I watch it, though I still don't love the ending. View all replies >
