Agree. They don’t even do science experiements much anymore. When they did the cornstarch and water on the stereo and the thing with the elevator that caused it to explode. Penny addicted to online gaming was a great episode. I much preferred the show with no Amy or Bernadette. I would like to have seen Sheldon end up with someone less like him and more like Penny.
I like the show, but seriously, the laughter is fukin annoying. It happens almost after every line. I love some of their facial expressions and how they react to jokes, but other than that, I don’t understand the science stuff.
They do cook in the kitchen, mostly breakfast, but very rarely for the entire group.
They did it once when Emily was seeing Raj, they were discussing how Batman could possibly fight Superman. But yeah, I think it was just easier to do takeout for everyone than cook all the time.
They only eat a couple of bites. I think the directors wanted them to concentrate more on talking and less on eating.
Personally, I’m glad to see the show end. It’s time.
Most shows have anywhere between eight or ten seasons, except The Simpsons. I love TBBT, but I didn’t want it to end up like The Simpsons. I liked The Big Bang Theory better when it was just Howard, Raj, Sheldon, Leonard and Penny. They should’ve made Leonard and Penny wait until the very last episode to get married. Seasons one to four were excellent. The rest of the show was a hit and miss after that.
I think the only reason the show is so successful is because of Jim Parsons. If any other actor played Sheldon, it wouldn’t have the same vibe or possibly even the same chemistry between all the characters.
Worst ones were with that old man Carlton Blanchard. And the one where Brian mistakenly falls in love with a 12 year old girl who writes love letters to a boy named Kyle. The rest of them were great, especially the Sports and Leisure.
She was basting it. There are a couple of clips on youtube of her getting a spoon to pour liquid on it.
