Very well said and great analysis. It was the most heartbreaking one of all. Very well acted as well Quite a brilliant assessment. Loved it Its hard not to agree with the premise of his plan. We are indeed overstuffed here on earth while the resources are diminishing. I almost understand his point when he is explaining it. That is what is brilliant about this movie. You almost understand where he is coming from and it makes the viewer connect with the villain as well at some level. I think Loki's death really sets the tone for the movie just from the movie point of view (not going into contracts and stuff). It just goes on to show that the stakes are real And the Gamora death was even more critical. It showed that Thanos was not some robotic villain doing "logical" things like wiping out half the humanity. It grounded his character despite being so larger than life. It showed that even Thanos had high stakes in his decision, that he too, along with the rest of the universe would have to make sacrifice. It was brilliantly executed as well on screen. One of the most touching moments What did you guys think about Spidey's death ?? That was too intense and had me choked up. The way he was begging to stay I have to agree. And there is nothing wrong in getting popular for the reason it has become popular. I totally understand and respect the cultural significance of this movie and a movie like Wonder Woman. But as a neutral viewer (aware of the issues, but not surrounded by at as I do not live in North America) I found this movie quite dull, especially for a superhero movie. The main protagonist had many internal conflicts, yes, but they were not depicted in a very convincing fashion. Things were happening at a quick pace, but there was no proper flow in the movie. It felt disjointed. The performances were fairly average as well. There was nothing standout about the Killmonger either, so I am not sure why he is getting rave reviews. A very average superhero movie on the whole. View all replies >
