AMC theaters is re-releasing the Tom Holland trio of Spider-Man films, Monday-Thursday for $5 plus tax, starting this week. The FX channel was airing them yesterday and today.
The Tobey Maguire trilogy and the two by Andrew Garfield were near sellouts, in bigger theaters, at the first two AMC shows Monday-Wednesdays,

There are two films by the same name, both in 1976! Same director and writers, but they added Anthony Quinn to the cast and got an Oscar nomination. I did not notice before.

It has been rerun in 2000+ theaters for three weeks. The attendance dropped 89% this past weekend. They drew over 26 people in one show near me, per online reservations. They'd been averaging 5 people during the late weekly shows.
The kid was too young for Natalie Portman's character. A three-film origin story for a major villain seemed ill advised to me.

I've heard the name Amy Winehouse, but know almost nothing about her or her music or whatever. Apparently a lot of her fans will not see this movie, because her father was apparently involved in making it.

I did a Google Search, opened Duck Duck Go and used that to open MovieChat. That eliminated the popup videos in the middle of the page, which slow this site to a crawl.
The Taboola ads at the bottom, plus the ads in the middle and the popup ads at the bottom all remain. I have 1.5 GB of memory, so I cannot use the memory for a popup blocker. They take too much memory for themselves.
MovieChat is supposed to be a <b>nonprofit</b> organization. How much money is Jim making from this? Burying it with more and more ads?

What kind of a deal did Disney make with 2,700 theaters? There was a 83.5% drop in North American box office for the second weekend. It is dropping even more this week, yet they are still airing it for a third weekend and next week.
They averaged about five people per theater on Thursday May 16. They are charging full price for tickets, except for the Tuesday discount by large chains. How long do they think they can keep showing this in 2,700 theaters?
By contrast, the AMC theaters are showing each Spider-Man movie three times per day on Mondays through Thursdays for $5 plus tax. The two early evening shows are near sellouts, in decent size theaters.
The 2,700 theaters are not going to make much from concession sales for Star Wars, when they are only getting five people or less per show. Spider-Man is demonstrating how to feed the science fiction nostalgia craze.
