Elvis literally had one of the best voices in the history of music. I get it, it’s cool to have what you think is an interesting hot take, but people who actually make music for a living all have a great deal of respect for Elvis and what he brought to music.
They never meet but yea, I’m talking about the message it sounds like she never met him. I think their meeting now is more than hey met you once when I was ten. They spent a lot of time together and had a pretty epic adventure. You would think she would open with hello old friend, not “hey you fought with my dad” their experience together was pretty memorable
He did a pretty good job honestly. He may not have been a dead ringer for Elvis. But sometimes you don’t actually need a look-alike to play a person I feel it’s more important to capture their essence and I think he did a pretty damn good job at it
You literally have two examples of brits losing their accents because of a role. It’s not that far fetched to believe that someone who is playing such an iconic person and had to lose themselves in a role, to have the mannerisms and the vocal aesthetic of the person stick with them for a while.
Why do you even care so much? Doesn’t seem like you like the movie or him... Charlie Hunnam actually said he lost his accent after playing Jax in sons on anarchy. This does happen to actors.

In what way is the dialogue somehow better in The Batman? Is it the cringe worthy line we get in the first 15 minutes that has Batman telling Alfred “you’re not my father” ?
How long did it take people to get over the western genre?
Superhero movies will never entirely disappear because studio’s will always have use for them. the Western should serve as a cautionary tale to studios that lean too heavily on specific genres about the fleeting nature of box-office success.
Two very different types of bands. Killers are Alternative indie pop. Green Day is pop punk rock.

He was anti AirBnB, and how it raises local people’s rent and forces them out of their neighborhoods in favor of tourists who just wanna party and do drugs. He’s actually a local hero, stopping AirBnb rentals one kill at a time.

Yea, it was a fathom events 2 day limited release. Kevin Smith is doing a roadshow/tour for the release of the movie rebootroadshow.com They basically go around the country watching the movie with people and doing some sort of Q&N. It's not your typical release
