I decided to watch TCM2 first and damn, it was bat shit crazy. Thank god it didn’t have the serious tone of the first one or some of the gruesome scenes would have been unbearable. lol It was so crazy seeing Dennis hopper in this role, and man, he was great. It was so all over the place and by the end when Stretch gets out and you see what everything out there looks like in the daylight, you start thinking what the hell else could happen, then it ends perfectly. Caroline Williams and her stuntwoman gave it their all, that’s for sure. Loved it and thanks for the recommendation. I just bumped it up to number 2 on my watchlist so I know I’ll get to it this weekend. :) It’s a celebration!!!!!! 💯👍💯👍💯👍💯👍💯👍💯👍 I just did a rewatch and I had not noticed this before, but the little girl in this film was Kyle Richards. That’s a most excellent choice of color. A nice forest green is my favorite color The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966) Once Upon a Time in the West (1968) Two of my favorites 👍 THAT is the question. There really is something about Haxan that keeps it at the top of the silent films I’ve seen. Halloween is definitely one that would be really high on my times watched list also. I had to be around 8 years old when they started running the trailer on HBO, at least I think it was HBO. It would scare me so bad I would run out of the room when it came on. A couple of years later it was one of the VHS tapes that was in my parents collection, and there’s no way I could count how many times I watched it. I’m pretty sure they recorded it off HBO, and if I remember correctly, the eye holes in Michael’s mask were like slits and reduced what the viewer could see during the sequence in the beginning when he killed his sister. Many years later I was amazed when I rented the theatrical version and the eye holes in the mask were round and you could see everything. Does anyone else remember HBO showing this censored version?
